The True Bond of Friendship

The True Bond of Friendship

Liam and Noah were the best of friends. They had grown up together, sharing laughter, secrets, and dreams. No matter what happened, they stood by each other.

One day, while walking through a forest, they got into a heated argument. In anger, Liam slapped Noah. Hurt but silent, Noah wrote on the sand:
“Today, my best friend slapped me.”

They continued their journey and soon reached a river. While crossing it, Noah slipped and started drowning. Without hesitation, Liam jumped in and saved him. After recovering, Noah carved on a stone:
“Today, my best friend saved my life.”

Liam was confused and asked, “Why did you write the slap on sand but this on stone?”

Noah smiled and said,
“When someone hurts us, we should write it in the sand so the wind of forgiveness can erase it. But when someone does something good, we should carve it in stone so it stays forever.”

Moral:

True friendship is about forgiveness and gratitude. A real friend doesn’t hold on to grudges but remembers kindness forever.
